All Inclusive Belize Vacations - Sun & Sand7 night 'Sun & Sand' PackageEach Sun & Sand package includes 7-night beach accommodation, all internal flights, full-day Manatee watching and beach BBQ, plus a half-day snorkeling trip. We can offer the Sun & Sand package on Ambegris Caye (San Pedro), Caye Caulker, Placencia or Hopkins Village.
Ambegris Caye is the largest island of Belize, with San Pedro being its main town. It
is also the most popular island of Belize. The island is so close the barrier reef that
you can just jump in a kayak and paddle there. There are no ‘Cancun style’ mega-hotels
on the island, only resorts that go from cute to magnificent (many a movie star chooses
Ambegris Caye as a vacation hide-away). There are no major roads in San Pedro and most
transport is in the form of golf buggies. Like the rest of Belize, San Pedro is extremely
relaxed and casual. Just bring your shorts and flip-flops.
Caye Caulker is the second biggest island of Belize. It attracts a slightly younger
crowd and those traveling on a budget. There are many hostels on the island, plus a few
nice resorts. There is one ‘mainstreet’ with shops, internet bars, restaurants and clubs.
Placencia is the second biggest tourist destination in Belize. This old fishing village
now offers some of the most exclusive resorts in Belize. The beaches in Placencia are
nicer than those on the island, but it is not as close to the reef. Still, most the
diving/snorkeling trips that you can take from here are the same as those from the islands.
Hopkins Village is a new-comer on the tourism scene. This Garifuna fishing village and is
well positioned for many daytrip destinations. From the jaguar reserve to river and desert
island boat trips and all the snorkeling/dive trips.
